House & apartment station

House & apartment station

  • We supply house and apartment stations in 20 kW, 35 kW and 40 kW versions.

  • Ideally suited for detached houses or terraced houses supplied from a local heating supply.

  • The stations are ready for operation, pre-wired and equipped with an integrated system controller.

HWS Connectivity

 1. Connection to the conexioportal

Requirements:

  • A *conexio 200* web module which is registered in the conexioportal conexioportal
  • The controller must be set to ProBusX (factory setting)

The conexioportal offers you a whole host of possibilities such as:

 2. Modbus

The modbus function enables you to connect up to the building services control system as well.

To do this, you have to change the controller over to modbus.

After you have changed over, the addressing menu point becomes visible. For communication to work correctly, the addressing must be set correctly. An *overview of modbus specifications* is available here for viewing or downloading.

Important: After changing over the bus type, it is always necessary to restart the controller!

 3. Modbus/TCP

If you operate the controller using the conexio 200 web module, it is also possible for modbus/TCP communication to be used.

Modbus/TCP can be used in the internet or in intranets without any restrictions and provides an attractive alternative to the realisation of communication architectures in the field of automation, especially if an Ethernet-based modbus/TCP is used. In addition to the straightforward realisation of a high-performance client/server communication functionality for a wide range of devices, it also enables a bridge to be built with the wide range of existing devices with a modbus capability using gateways. Moreover, modbus/TCP also provides an elegant means of realising decentralized I/O architectures.

To do this requires going to the *configuration screen* of conexio 200 in the local network and activating the Modbus-TCP option:

Application example 1 (Standard system setting)

This system is suitable for a local heating network with the concomitant technical conditions, but is also ideal for the modernization of large heating networks. The primary heating side is separated from the secondary network by a heat exchanger.

Suitable for properties with a single heating circuit. In this example the house station supplies a heating circuit directly with the appropriate supply line temperature. Outdoor-temperature-controlled via directly connected outdoor temperature sensor or modbus. Hot water is generated by a hot water storage tank.

*The stations are pre-programmed and delivered with the requirements from application example 1 as standard.

Application example 2

*The set of parameters for these requirements is available for downloading here and is really easy to import to the controller. You will also find a detailed manual here.

The fitted system controller can control up to 4 mixed heating circuits. In this example, two mixed heating circuits are controlled.

This is achieved using two mixed stations which are connected to the controller via bus. All stations are pre-wired and equipped on the basis of the plug-and-play principle. The stations are installed and the bus cable and power supply are connected afterwards. After that, all that remains is for the stations to be activated on the controller and the correct bus address to be set on the mixed stations themselves – done!

Hot water is generated by a hot water storage tank. In this example the hot water processing does not necessarily have to be set to priority but can run parallel to the heating instead.
