In collaboration with manufacturers of measuring machines, an automatic measuring device is developed for the EMO in Hanover which is capable of measuring the complex surfaces of pistons and comparing them with target values

Foundation

Manfred Hirschmann & Hans Mohnkorn establish their company for industrial electronics

Most important product in the first year: an ultra-fast high-precision positioning controller for the automotive industry which is still used in production lines for engine pistons all over the world to this very day.
